We have give task to come up with our favorite bedtime story and present in during tutorial. So, i did little internet surfing activities because i have a lot of favorite bedtime stories. after a few consideration, i choose the bedtime story entitle "Rumpelstilzchen". As this story is one of my favorite story when i was a still a little kid.
This story started when a miller told the king that his daughter can spin straw into gold. The king wanted to see this, so he order to bring the girl into his castle. She was brought into a room full of straw and told to spin it into gold. If she cannot do it, she will die. So, the girl cried all night until a strange little man come to offer his help. The woman give her neckerchief to the little man if he straw the straw into gold. The king come the next day and was happy to see all the gold. He then brought the girl into much larger room that filled with straw and told her spin those into gold. At night, the little came to offer his help and the girl give her ring as reward for helping her. The next day, the king was delighted to see all the gold but not yet satisfied. So he bring the girl into a much larger room to spin the straw. This time he said that if the girl can spin all the straw into gold by tomorrow, she will become her queen. At night, the little come to offer help but the girl has nothing left to give him. So, the little man said that he want her first born child if she become the queen. The girl give her promise as she was so desperate. The King came in the morning and was filled with joy. He then marry the girl and made her into his queen. The years passed until the queen gave birth to a lovely baby. Then, the little man came for the baby but the queen refused. So, he said that if the queen can guessed his name, he will not take the baby, she was give 3 days. The first and second day passed without the queen can guess his name. On the third day, one her messenger returned and told her that he heard a funny little man singing about taking a queen's child and his name was Rumpelstilzchen. So, the queen guessed the name right and Rumpelstilzchen did not take the baby.The reason i like the story is because of the character Rumpelstilzchen. When i was still a kid, i used to think that i am very lucky to have him as friend. I would give him my favorite toy and tell him to build me a rocket or may be a robot.
This is a good story and it is filled with good moral value. i recommended this story to all children in the world.
This is the bed time story I know since my primary school times. I do like these kind of stories because it is all about fairy tales and it maybe happening around us and we won't be able to notice or know. I do wish that one day I can meet with the characters in all the bed time stories because they really inspire me about the importance of dreaming. Ones who without dreams are like a walking dead.
